Volunteer! Teach a Class at the Kyle Library

Volunteers are an important part of the Kyle Public Library. Last year several volunteers gave freely of their time to enhance the patron experience at our library. Kyle Public Library can provide a variety of challenging and rewarding volunteer opportunities. All assignments offer flexible scheduling and a chance to play an important role in providing library services.
 

Your volunteer role will be as individual as you are. Assignments are based on your unique skills and interests. Volunteers in our library assist the staff by shelving materials, shelf reading (scanning the shelves and arranging library materials which may not be in their proper place), answering telephones, checking out materials, clearing book carts, shifting the book collection, sorting delivery items, and assisting with special library programs such as story time.

We are especially in need of volunteers to teach classes at the library
